I have been studying about Dinosaurs for about 5 years. In that time period, I learnt about Dinosaurs and prehistoric animals. First of all, lets start with the description of Dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs were a family of reptiles which existed many million years ago. They became extinct, but now, only Lizards exist as a specimen of Dinosaurs. Dinosaurs were the ancestors of today's lizards. Many people describe Dinosaurs in their own way. Some people say that Dinosaurs were huge monsters whereas some people say they are very helpful because it has contributed a lot to scientists and paleontologists by giving information about prehistoric animals. By digging on the ground, paleontologists have found many skeletons and fossils of dinosaurs. The picture given below is a skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus-rex(usually known as T-rex):
